Bessemer Venture Partners Promotes Vishal Gupta to Managing Director

Mumbai, India, January 11, 2010— Bessemer Venture Partners, a global investment group, today announced the promotion of Vishal Gupta to Managing Director of the Mumbai-based BVP India advisory team.

Mr. Gupta joined BVP India in 2006 as an associate. He was promoted to vice president in 2007 and then to director in 2008. Prior to joining Bessemer, he worked at Reliance Group in the Treasurer’s office. Previously, he worked for SBI Mutual Funds and for DSL Software, a joint venture between HCT Tech and Deutsche Bank.
