Pinnacle Engines is commercializing a innovative, ultra-efficient engine architecture that provides dramatic improvements in fuel economy without the typical cost penalty. By 2016, there will be two hundred million motorcycles, cars, and trucks sold annually, straining the earth's natural resources and impacting the environment. Pinnacle Engines' patented four-stroke, spark-ignited, opposed-piston sleeve-valve architecture is the culmination of over 100 years of combustion engine design and forty years of research by founder and CTO Monty Cleeves. The resulting low-cost power train system will provide dramatic reductions in fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, effectively meeting existing and projected global tailpipe emissions standards.
