Doug Romanoff
Doug Romanoff is a Senior Associate in the Menlo Park, CA office. He focuses on investments in the clean-tech sector and is involved with Bessemer’s investments in Tigo Energy, UltraSolar Technology, Pinnacle Engines, and Xtreme Power.
Prior to joining BVP, Doug advised leading energy, technology, and industrial clients on issues of strategy and M&A in the New York office of Deloitte Consulting. There his experience included contributing to the World Economic Forum’s research on sustainability and developing innovation roadmaps for market disruption. Previously, Doug held an internship at early stage investor Lux Capital, where he worked closely with start ups such as Kurion.
Doug holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated with a B.S. in materials engineering with distinction from Brown University. He is the recipient of fellowship awards from the Brown Division of Engineering and the Minerals, Metals, and Materials Society for his research on next generation biomaterials and photovoltaic platforms.
