Liad Agmon

Liad Agmon joined BVP Israel's Herzliya office in 2010 as an entrepreneur-in-residence. He focuses on Internet, mobile and big-data applications.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Liad was the vice-president of new services and general manager of social commerce for Sears Holdings, which had acquired his start-up, Delver, an intelligent social-search engine. While at Sears, Liad served on the boards of the home-electronics and outlets business units. Liad’s first start-up was Onigma, a provider of enterprise data-security and protection solutions. After it was acquired by McAfee, he worked for that firm as director of product management.

Liad is a teaching Entrepreneurship courses at the Tel-Aviv University MBA Program and in the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya.

Prior to becoming active in the Israeli startup scene, Liad has been involved in the Israel film industry and was an assistant director on “Turn Left at the End of the World,” the top-grossing film in Israel in recent years.
