Biography
Nithin Kaimal is the chief operating officer for the Bangalore office. He oversees Bessemer’s India fund and provides portfolio companies with services, resources, and strategic counsel.
Prior to joining Bessemer, Nithin spent over ten years with various private equity funds including IDFC Alternatives and IndiaRF (Piramal-Bain Capital Credit JV). He has also been an entrepreneur, having co-founded two ventures in investment management and social commerce. Nithin started his career at McKinsey & Company where he covered strategic advice, operational improvement, organization building, and post-merger integration.
Nithin is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
