Biography

Anthony Lye is an operating advisor at Bessemer and the global head of the Apollo and the product-led growth business unit at Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR), a software development company that specializes in big data analytics and known for their work with the US intelligence community, the U.S. Department of Defense, and several Fortune 500 companies.

Throughout his career, Anthony has been working on business and technology transformations, including distributed computing, early internet technologies, Software as a service (SaaS), Platform as a service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a service (IaaS). Anthony has over 25 years of experience in the development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Human Capital Management (HCM). 

Prior to Palantir, Anthony served as the executive vice president and general manager of NetApp’s (NASDAQ: NTAP) public cloud business, where he led the growth from $500k to more than $500M in five and half years, including more than a dozen acquisitions. Before joining NetApp, Anthony held several leadership positions at cloud technology businesses, including HotSchedules, Siebel, Oracle, and Remedy leading fast-growth transformational businesses across product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Bath in England. He currently serves on the board of trustees at Bath University and is a senior advisor to the Boston Consulting Group and SUSE, an open-source software company that develops and sells Linux products to business customers. In addition, Anthony has established a scholarship for women in the School of Coding. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children.
