Brielee Lu

Biography

Brielee Lu is an investor in Bessemer’s New York City office, where she focuses on vertical software and consumer AI.

Before joining Bessemer, Brielee worked with Soma Capital and Lerer Hippeau, and invested with Dorm Room Fund. She also helped build Shiffon, a consumer packaged goods company that reinvests profits into a seed fund supporting female founders in emerging markets.

Earlier in her career, she pursued international modeling opportunities in the United States, Berlin and Barcelona.

Brielee graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree and received the Academic Excellence Award in Entrepreneurship.

Outside the office, she enjoys hosting themed dinner parties, browsing Petfinder.com and exploring art history, cooking and sample sales.
