Biography

Isabella Mandis is an investor based in Bessemer's New York office.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Isabella began working at venture-backed startups while in high school, including companies backed by Thrive Capital and BoxGroup. She went on to hold venture roles at NEA and Alumni Ventures, completed an engineering fellowship at Kleiner Perkins, and published research in artificial intelligence.

Isabella graduated from Harvard College, where she studied statistics and education. At Harvard, she was the first undergraduate partner of The MBA Fund, served as a Class Marshal, and was a member of the Harvard Lampoon, while also managing more than $1 million in inventory at the Harvard Shop. Isabella founded Girls Into VC, the first nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to venture capital for women, growing it to more than 10,000 members.

In her spare time, Isabella enjoys spending time in Central Park with her dog Teddy, reading murder mysteries, and playing board games with friends.
