Julie Porro is an operating advisor and a dynamic cybersecurity and data privacy executive with over 20 years of experience driving global security strategy across Fortune 500 and high-growth organizations. Her leadership spans industries including real estate, aviation, media, and financial services— where she has built and led enterprise security programs that protect billions in assets and millions of users worldwide.

Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer, Julie has held executive leadership roles at Anywhere Real Estate, Shutterstock, and JetBlue, and previously led critical security and data privacy initiatives at Deutsche Bank and Citi. Known for turning cybersecurity into a business enabler, Julie has led fraud operations that prevented multimillion-dollar losses on e-commerce platforms, partnered with product teams to improve user experience, and supported law enforcement in several high-profile investigations. Her approach is hands-on, collaborative, and always focused on impact.

Julie is on a mission to reframe cybersecurity from a reactive, back-office function to a proactive, enterprise-wide partner - one that helps organizations innovate securely, build trust, and stay resilient in a rapidly evolving digital world. She holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, where she double majored in Marketing and German. She also maintains the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential.
