Megan Ananian

Biography

Megan is the Director of Business Development, based in New York City.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Megan spent six years in investment banking with Wells Fargo Securities, followed by a brief role in product management at 2U. She then transitioned into venture capital, where she spent the past six years. Most recently, Megan was a Partner at Great Wave Ventures, an emerging fund backed by Japanese institutions, leading seed-stage investments.

During the pandemic, Megan helped raise a fund investing in female founders in technical fields and launched The Helm, an angel syndicate for executive women.

Megan earned her BS in Accounting from University of South Carolina and her MBA from Yale School of Management.

She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, son, and their dog. Outside of work, Megan enjoys traveling, renovating old houses, relaxing in the Catskills, and visiting off-leash hours at Prospect Park.
