Mike Giampapa


Mike Giampapa is an investor in Bessemer’s New York office, primarily focused on financial services, crypto, and other emerging technologies.

Previously, he was an investor at Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), where he was actively involved in the firm’s investments in Coinbase, Compass, Giphy, IEX, Masterclass, MuleSoft, and Rubrik. Mike started his career in the technology investment banking and asset management groups at J.P. Morgan and also worked in business development at Circle, a venture-backed crypto-finance company.

Mike holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he served as co-president of the Blockchain & Crypto Club, and graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University, where he was a member of the varsity football team.
