Biography

Paul Fifield is an operating advisor at Bessemer who brings extensive expertise as a four-time founder and early-stage company-building specialist. His passion lies in the highly creative early stages of a company's development.

After pioneering short-form, brand-funded entertainment in the early stages of the internet through his production company Guerrilla Productions,  Paul spotted the emerging B2B SaaS value creation opportunity and pivoted into technology.

Most recently in 2019,  Paul served as the CEO and co-founder of Sales Impact Academy, an ed-tech company offering an education and coaching platform for Go-to-Market teams. Under his leadership, the company experienced rapid growth during the pandemic, securing over $30M. Revenue grew to $1M after 12 months, then $5M a year later, and the business continues to thrive under a new CEO, with Paul moving to a board-only position in 2022.

Previously, Paul held the position of CRO at UNiDAYS, a digital identity startup in the student space. In just three years, he played a key role in elevating the company's revenue from $2M to $40M, with no external capital. Paul established and grew the Go-to-Market team from 2 to over 100 people, successfully expanding operations to New York and Sydney.

Paul's career highlights also include co-founding online design tool Ceros in New York in 2013,  raising a Series A and serving initially as CEO, before focusing on sales in the role of CRO.  In 2020 the business raised $100M from a notable venture capital firm and continues as an independent company with an exciting AI play that is anticipated to accelerate revenues past $100M.

Today Paul is actively involved in coaching CEOs of early-stage venture-backed businesses, serving on several boards, and developing a new venture called “In This Together”, a coaching platform and venture fund designed to support companies from Seed to Series A.  Apart from his professional engagements, Paul enjoys playing the guitar with his high-octane new indie punk band, studying Eastern philosophy and mindfulness, and incorporating cycling and running into his routine as he trains for an upcoming half Iron Man. He is a very proud father to his autistic teenage son and he currently resides in London, England.
