Taj Shorter

Biography

Taj Shorter is a content manager based in Bessemer’s San Francisco office. She leads and produces content that advances the firm’s brand and thought leadership across newsletters and multimedia campaigns.

Taj earned a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from the University of California, Riverside. She began her career in journalism as a managing editor for a local publication before transitioning to marketing roles in the SaaS and venture capital sectors. At Plug and Play Tech Center, she led global content marketing strategy.

Taj is interested in the crypto and web3 space and is focused on developing her AI skill set at Bessemer. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and playing tennis
