Tanay Shah

Tanay Shah is an investor based out of Bessemer’s Bangalore office.

Prior to joining Bessemer full time, Tanay interned with the team, where he worked across sourcing and deal evaluation while building AI-native internal tools from zero to one to support the team’s workflows. He also interned at JPMorgan Chase on the trading and structuring desks and at Boston Consulting Group, where he contributed to a cost optimization project.

Tanay graduated from BITS Pilani, Goa Campus, with a dual degree in computer science and economics, ranking among the top 1% of his class.

Outside of work, Tanay enjoys making short films, performing mime, and writing comic books and articles.
