Todd Surdey

Todd Surdey is an operating advisor at Bessemer Venture Partners as well as Executive Vice President and GM (Enterprise Sales & Emerging Products) at Vantor.

Prior to Vantor he was the VP of Global Security Revenue at Google Cloud, where he was responsible for global sales, presales, sales development, renewals, evolving the go-to-market for scale that included the cybersecurity strategy, channels, and maturing sales operational.

Previous to Google he worked at Palo Alto Networks in numerous leadership roles that included, the CRO of Cortex globally, the SVP of Enterprise Sales for the Americas, as well as SVP of Routes to Market which included Global Channels, Global Systems Integrators, Service Providers and the US Federal business.

Prior to joining Palo Alto Networks, Todd Surdey served as Chief Revenue Officer at FinancialForce, a leading Cloud ERP company, and was responsible for global sales, channels, operations and go-to-market strategy.

Previously, he held a number of leadership roles at SAP that included Senior Vice President of Hana Enterprise Cloud Sales where he ran the Cloud business for the Americas.

Over the last 20+ years, Todd has held a number of senior executive roles for top software companies, such as SVP at Salesforce; CRO FinancialForce, SVP at VMware (which included Pivotal), VP at Tibco and VP at BEA. Across his career, Todd has always focused on building high performing teams anchored on company, customer success and culture.

When Todd isn’t working he can be found spending time with his family. He and his wife enjoy traveling to visit their daughter at SMU and watching his son pitch in baseball games across the country. Todd also spends his free time competing and training for triathlons
