Vivek Iyer

Biography

Vivek Iyer is finance and operations manager based in Bessemer’s India office.

Vivek is a passionate private equity professional with seven years of experience handling finance and operation of funds. In addition to experience in accounting, financial management, and strategic management, Vivek has also worked on fund structuring, portfolio monitoring, and investor relationships.

Vivek started their career in Piramal’s Alternative Business, where they worked on fund accounting and compliance. Prior to joining Bessemer, Vivek handled fund operations, investor relations, finance, and compliance for Somerset Indus Capital Partners India Fund and part of their Offshore Fund.

Vivek earned a degree in commerce from Mumbai University and an Accounting Technician Certificate (ATC) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In their spare time, Vivek enjoys playing cricket and chess.
