Ryan Wrenn

Biography

Ryan Wrenn is an AI Technology Operating Advisor at BVP Forge.

Before joining BVP Forge, Ryan spent nearly a decade leading AI and ML engineering organizations across CloudBolt, Smarsh, and Digital Reasoning — building and scaling production AI systems, NLP platforms, and data infrastructure, serving enterprises including Tier 1 financial institutions. Earlier in his career, Ryan served as chief technology officer at Artiphon, a consumer hardware company, and held engineering roles at the Institute for Software Integrated Systems (Vanderbilt University) and Hughes Network Systems.

Across 20 years of engineering leadership, Ryan has developed deep expertise in product strategy, production AI systems, and cloud and data platforms, with a track record of leading and scaling organizations through critical growth phases — including managing international teams across the U.S., UK, and India.

Ryan earned his B.S. in computer engineering from Tulane University. Outside of work, Ryan lives in Nashville with his family, where you'll find him at a live music show, his kids' sporting events, or planning his family’s next travel adventure.
