Bessemer Venture Partners promotes Sakib Dadi to Vice President
As an investor, Sakib Dadi supports founders building developer platforms, infrastructure technologies, and solutions reshaping the digital economy.
Bessemer has a long tradition of investing in founders with ambitious visions for the future, building the products and platforms that drive the digital industrial revolution. The same holds true for the investors on our team as well. In this spirit, we celebrate Sakib Dadi’s promotion to vice president and his continued dedication to building lasting relationships with founders scaling developer-centric platforms, infrastructure technologies, and products that enable entrepreneurship.
“Sakib’s deep knowledge and curiosity about the platforms driving the digital industrial revolution makes him a strong investor who has made countless contributions to the firm,” said Ethan Kurzweil, partner at Bessemer Venture Partners. “He also excels at forging strong relationships with our founders, providing them with strategic support as their businesses grow and scale.”
“Sakib is thoughtful about what makes high-growth, venture-backed companies successful, especially as it pertains to developer-centric platforms and infrastructure products,” says John Kodumal, CTO and co-founder of LaunchDarkly. “Our partnership with Bessemer, and having Sakib on our side with his knowledge and understanding of the landscape, has helped us crystalize our vision and realize our ambitions as a business powering modern software development."
Throughout his career at Bessemer, Sakib has provided strategic insight for entrepreneurs and founders as they build and scale their businesses. He currently serves as a board observer for Coder.com, Tribe Technologies, Okera, TSM, Piazza, Pinpoint, and ManyChat. He also sourced and works with companies such as Guild Education, Sila, Syndio, VTS, LaunchDarkly, Intercom, and PagerDuty.
Sakib joined the firm in 2015, inspired to work in venture capital to partner with builders creating the future through new technology. Guided by Bessemer’s roadmap-driven process, Sakib will continue to explore and invest in developer platforms, data infrastructure, and solutions supporting new business creation, and beyond.
“I care deeply about investing in people and companies building technology to make end-users more powerful,” says Sakib Dadi. “I look forward to supporting many founders on their paths to creating products and businesses that positively impact the world, whether it be by making it easier to build better software, facilitating interactions with each other, helping the next generation of entrepreneurs start businesses, transforming the way we all learn, or reducing our environmental impact.”
Prior to joining Bessemer, Sakib began his career in technology investment banking at Morgan Stanley and honed his operating experience as a product manager at Viagogo. He graduated summa cum laude with Bachelor’s degrees in Materials Science & Engineering and Economics, as well as a Master’s in Materials Science & Engineering, from the University of Pennsylvania.
