Jo Anne Ambrosino

Biography

Jo Anne Ambrosino is vice president of People Operations at Bessemer, based in New York. She leads a distributed global team responsible for all HR and talent strategies across the full employee lifecycle—spanning employee relations, benefits, compensation, payroll, compliance, and HRIS across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments.

Over her 27 years at the firm, Jo Anne has been a steady and trusted presence through decades of growth and change, modernizing benefits programs, building scalable systems, and ensuring the function keeps pace as Bessemer's global presence has grown.

For much of her career, Jo Anne played a central role in running the firm's management company, giving her a uniquely broad view of BVP's operations, culture, and leadership that few in her field can claim. That foundation continues to shape her approach today, grounding every initiative in a deep understanding of how the firm works.

Jo Anne earned her bachelor's degree from Long Island University.
