Karan Pahwa

Biography

Karan Pahwa is a BVP India Partner and BVP Europe & Asia Counsel. He leads our legal activities across Europe and Asia, assisting investment professionals with transaction structuring, negotiation, execution, and portfolio-related legal matters including dispute resolution, litigation, and governance strategies.

Karan previously led Bessemers’ legal activities in India for a decade, before becoming a partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. At Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, a full-service law firm in India, Karan specialized in providing counsel to venture capital firms, private equity firms, and with respect to M&A transactions.

Karan received his B.A. and L.L.B with honors from the W.B. National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
