Gabe Miller-Smith is an operating advisor at Bessemer where he brings a wealth of experience in support, professional services, and customer success management.
Prior to joining Bessemer, he spent 11 years at Procore Technologies as the senior vice president of customer success helping lead the company from early stage startup to IPO with over $500 million in ARR and a valuation of more than $10 billion. During this time, he grew the customer success team to 600 people supporting 15,000 customers in over 125 countries.
Gabe has helped companies revamp customer onboarding to deliver faster time to value, stand-up one-to-many programs to drive scale and redesigned customer journey maps to mitigate churn and drive expansion revenue. Gabe has also built and scaled teams across customer success operations and enablement.
Gabe earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In his free time, you can find Gabe surfing the breaks of Southern California, planning his next ski trip, or going for runs along the beaches and parks of Santa Barbara with his wife, Julia.
